Ardsley Park and Ardmore is also known as midtown Savannah. Ardsley Park was added to the Nation Registration of Historic Places in 1985 and comprises an eyelash shy of 1,000 homes. These neighborhoods are a continuation of the residential stretch from the Savannah River running South to include the Historic District, Victorian District, Starland district, and Baldwin Park. The boundaries for Ardsley Park and Ardmore are Bull Street, Victory Drive, Waters Avenue, and 60th Street at the lane. The grid system and numbered streets will ensure you will not get lost.
In the heart of midtown, you will find Habersham Village which boasts many restaurants and places to gather. Hirano’s, Bella’s, and The 5 Spot are a few of our favorites. In addition, you can grab a great cup of coffee at Coffee Delli and top it off with a treat from River Street Sweets, best known for their award-winning pralines. With or without nuts.
Shopping and Attractions:
This neighborhood is centrally located, just a quick bike ride to Whole Foods or a brisk walk to Habersham Village. Here you will find Bently’s Pet Stuff for your four-legged friends, Punch and Judy, a children’s store, Rite Aid for your Drugstore needs, and a boutique Grocery Store named Red and White. If yoga is your thing, there is a Hot Yoga Studio with a smoothie bar inside called Blend and Press. We are home to the Savannah Bananas Baseball Team, that play their games at nearby Grayson Stadium in Daffin Park.
The architectural style found in Ardsley Park and Ardmore is that of the late 19th and 20th-century revivals, American movements and a sprinkling of bungalows. One can count new construction homes in this area on two hands. The prices range from the mid 200’s to over a million.
